Next Technology Tecnotessile participated in the Textile Recycling Expo, held in Brussels on 4 and 5 June 2025, presenting DAEDALUS, a new technology for the automated sorting of clothing. The system, developed to optimize the selection of end-of-life textile products, is able to distinguish garments based on parameters such as type of fiber, conditions of use and possibility of reuse or recycling.
The fair was an important opportunity to showcase the potential of DAEDALUS to European stakeholders engaged in the transition to a more circular textile economy. Thanks to advanced sensors and intelligent algorithms, the technology allows to improve the efficiency and quality of the pre-treatment and selection phases, contributing to the environmental objectives defined by the European Union.
